National Student Volunteer Week Student Expo 2023

8th & 10th August 2023, Darwin

Hosted by Volunteering SA&NT and Charles Darwin University, the Student Expo provided a platform for various organisations to set up booths for students to get to know more about volunteering opportunities.

Every year in August, National Student Volunteer Week acknowledges and celebrates student volunteers and promotes volunteering to young people across Australia. It is coordinated and delivered nationally by Volunteering Queensland since 2013 and supported by Volunteering Australia and all State and Territory Peak volunteering bodies (#NSVW23)

The theme for 2023 is Give. Grow. Belong, which taps into a generation who are more socially conscious than ever before.  Rather than stand idly by, students around Australia are committed to getting involved with causes they believe in and to contribute to positive change.

Give: share your time, skill or talent in any way you can.

Grow: realise that personal wellbeing comes from giving to others.

Belong: doing something together forges deep connection.

The expo was held at the Charles Darwin University Casuarina Campus and Waterfront Campus.
