At Villy, we create the framework to foster community connections, normalising support, and re-creating purpose. Our focus is on closing the gaps between Government policy, allied health support and the lived experience of modern-day family life.
Villy also focuses on supporting our Defence families, acknowledging the unique and isolating challenges they often face. We support both veterans and Defence families to grow organically and foster a pay-it-forward mindset.

MORE ABOUT THE CAUSE
Our pilot program launched in Darwin, NT in early 2024 with national expansion planned in the near future.
While the initial focus of the Villy App will be on current and ex serving Defence members and their families, the ultimate goal is to expand to include the wider community as all families need the trauma sensitive support that Villy provides.
The Villy App and pilot program is supported by funding from the Australian Government under the National Suicide Prevention Leadership and Support Program (NSPLSP).

- Transition support from the medical model of care into daily living with the assistance of trauma informed psychosocial support and service
- Practical day to day support for people and families to reduce the load on local health services from decline in health due to lack of community or social engagement
- Scaffold support to empower and enable individuals to relearn their own personal limits and live with purpose and a renewed sense of belonging
- Provides a renewed sense of purpose for individuals needing to reconnect following a life changing event, injury, or trauma
- Extended support to the broader community (not limited to veteran/military personnel and families)
